the aftershockI sit alone with no one to turn to, then I look up and I see you. Immediately my heart plays a sympathy of sappy love songs, which seem so loud they could make buildings crumble. I give you a look of affection hoping the look will go unnoticed, but then your eyes pierce through me and I melt. So I go about unnoticed by you, the pain rushes through me I can't take it. Tears fall from my eyes but no one is there to dry them. My sorrow is unseen by others because its building up inside of me. I'm locked up all alone and theres no escape. I suppose I'm destined for this, this is my fate. I'm on the verge of a breakdown. I call you but it seems I' the aftershock
